As the opportunity arose, Greg Gordon, an experienced jeweler and Gemologist from Conroe, Texas gained ownership of Douglas Jewelers after the retirement of the original Douglas family,

Gordon has been in the jewelry business since 1990 and has had a part in over 7,000 family-owned jewelry stores. Gordon and his wife, Lisa, are overjoyed at the thought of carrying on a 48-year-old tradition with the re-opening of Douglas Jewelers.

As Bryan/ College Station's exclusive Master IJO Jeweler, Douglas Jewelers received the Torch Award in 2009 for Marketplace Ethics.
Among the credentials acquired to best serve their customers, Greg Gordon is GIA certified with his speciality area of expertise residing in diamonds. The store was led into the Texas Jewelers Association and also occupies a seat as a member in the College Station Chamber of Commerce.
